GREG LENZ PT, ATC, CERT DN
Physical Therapist
Over 20 years of physical therapy experience on Owatonna.
Expertise in treating all your orthopedic, sports medicine, and work-related conditions.
Master’s degree from University of South Dakota in The Program in Physical Therapy in 1997. Certified in Blood Flow Restriction and Functional Dry Needling from Evidence in Motion.
Bachelor’s degree from South Dakota State University athletic training program in 1995.
Active member of the Owatonna community. A member of the Knights of Columbus and Early Edition Rotary Club.
RHIANNA HANSON, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
I am excited to be part of the OSPT team! I graduated with my clinical doctorate in physical therapy in 2016 from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. I have experience in outpatient orthopedics and older adult inpatient settings. I particularly enjoy treating chronic pain, reducing falls risks and improving overall function in older adults, and managing pain and fitness in pregnancy/postpartum. I am excited to continue to expand my skillset here at OSPT and look forward to working with you.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active just as I recommend for my clients. I love hiking, road biking, golf, yoga, basic weight lifting, gardening, tending my houseplants, singing, crafting, and taking stroller walks with my little girl. I live in Kasson with my pastor husband and our beautiful little daughter. One last thing to know, I am from Wisconsin and proud of it!
MARC GROMMESCH, PTA, CERT MR, S-CS
Physical Therapist Assistant
I grew up in Burnsville, MN and graduated from The College of St. Catherine’s/St. Mary’s Campus in Minneapolis. I have been working at OSPT (formally The Owatonna Physical Therapy Center) since 1994. I am a certified weight trainer and have also received a certification in John Barnes Myofascial Release and Strain-Counterstrain. I enjoy the outdoors including snowmobiling, hunting, and watching the Minnesota Twins and Vikings.
JARED UNDERRINER, PT, DPT, OCS, CERT DN
Physical Therapist
I grew up in northern Iowa, and my wife and I moved to Owatonna summer 2022 and I started working for OSPT in January 2023. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with my BA in Exercise Science, and then earned my doctorate in physical therapy from Creighton University in Omaha, NE in 2017. I have attained specialization through continuing education, and I am Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy with additional certifications for functional dry needling, blood flow restriction, and manual therapy.
I have spent my entire career in outpatient orthopedics and sports rehab, working primarily with high school/collegiate athletes and our local community. I am passionate about helping athletes return to sport, as well as helping all patients maximize their function to return to all the activities they enjoy!
During free time, my wife and I enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time with our families. We are excited to be part of the Owatonna community!
SCOTT NELSON, PT CERT DN. TPI CERT
Physical Therapist, Owner
I grew up in Northern Minnesota and graduated from The College of St. Scholastica with a BA in Biology and received my Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota in 2001. I have a Certification in Functional Dry Needling from Evidence in Motion and I am Certified by the Titleist Performance Institute to perform joint flexibility and stability assessments as they pertain to the golf swing.
I have spent most of my career working in outpatient orthopedic clinics but have experience in acute care.
My wife Brenda and I moved to Faribault in 2005 and to Owatonna in 2012. During my time in Faribault, I worked in a similar setting providing physical therapy to patients with musculoskeletal pain and I was also fortunate to work with collegiate and professional athletes. We have owned OSPT since 2018. We have 6 children and enjoy camping, playing sports and the outdoors. I also coach hockey for the Owatonna Youth Hockey Association.
LANI LARSEN
Receptionist/Office Lead
I grew up in Owatonna and I worked at an assisted living home for 6 years as a RA and then became the staff manager for a little over a year. I am excited to have joined the OSPT team and look forward to helping patients in any way I can, whether an insurance question or even just a smile!
Outside of work I enjoy photography, painting, walks with my family, being outside, gardening and tending to my animals! I still live in Owatonna with my husband and our three children.
LISA LAMMERS
Receptionist
Lisa joined OSPT in 2021 after retiring from Federated Insurance. She was raised in Owatonna and she and her husband Tom chose to raise their family here as well.
BRENDA NELSON
Owner, Administrator
Brenda is co-owner of OSPT and wears many hats behind the scenes. She is the proud mother of 6 children and enjoys quilting, camping, playing tennis and physical fitness.
